The US Diploma and Course Supplement Program enables international high schools to add value to your school curriculum and to bring prestige to your name by providing students with classes taught by certified, quality US teachers. Finding qualified English teachers to live and work abroad is a challenge. This limits the number of courses that a traditional brick and mortar school can offer its students. By enrolling in the program, international schools can overcome the limited options of the course with access to more than 100 courses and provide their students with up to 28 AP courses, all taught by certified American high school teachers. Participating schools will even be able to promote the Capstone Projects for their students by giving students a unique and prestigious career opportunity and leadership building in the United States.
The participating high school has some responsibilities to offer the program. The participating high school works with ELITE to align its curriculum with that of the International Connections Academy. Once the curriculum is aligned, the school must select or augment a staff member to be trained as a Learning Coach. After the Learning Coach completes the ELITE training, students will be enrolled and classes can begin.
